Empowering Youth with Resources and Fun at the 2025 Back to School Community Fair
Inglewood, CA - June 21, 2025-- Ignite Arts & STEM, a dynamic organization dedicated to providing arts and STEM education to underserved BIPOC youth in the Greater Los Angeles area, is thrilled to announce the 2025 Back to School Community Fair. This eagerly anticipated event will take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM PDT at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 9300 S Crenshaw Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90305.
The fair is set to offer essential resources, school supplies, and a day filled with fun and engagement for hundreds of local children and their families. This year, the event is supported by a host of generous sponsors and participants, including AstraZeneca, CVS Project Health, AT&T, Trader Joe's, Open Arms Pantry, Raising Cane's, MLB (El Segundo office), Kilroy Realty, Medtronic Diabetes, and Everest Bags, among others. Their contributions are instrumental in expanding the reach and impact of the fair.
"The Back to School Community Fair is a cornerstone event for our community," said Kimberly Pierce, Board Member of Ignite Arts & STEM. "We are committed to providing the necessary resources and support to help our youth thrive as they embark on a new school year."
This year's event promises to be even bigger than last year's, with resources, health screenings, school supplies, groceries, and activities available to students and families from the Los Angeles, Inglewood, South Bay, West LA, Long Beach, and Compton communities. The event is open to the community, and no registration is required. Attendees are encouraged to simply show up and enjoy the activities, resources, and fun.
In partnership with the Holy Trinity Childcare Center and The National Coalition of 100 Black Women Los Angeles Chapter, Ignite Arts & STEM is dedicated to making this event a success. Past participants have included CVS Project Health and other community resources promoting healthy living. This year, the fair will feature more community health resources offering no-cost, no-catch health screenings and resources to guests.
For those interested in supporting the event, sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are available. Donations can be made through the Buy-A-Backpack program, and volunteers can sign up to help ensure the event's success. For more information on the Back to School Community Fair, please visit here.
